There is a tendency to see faults in others. I always think it’s my husband’s fault for our miscommunications. He just doesn’t get it!

And my business partner is usually wrong too, in my eyes.

It is quite empowering to pause and accept the other’s point of view. After all, we each bring 50% into the relationship and 100% of our own ideas and perceptions. 

Can I put myself in the other person’s shoes? To look at things through their eyes and try to understand how they heard what I just said.

Life will be so much happier.
