What did you do or do for work?
I owned a financial planning and employee benefits practice serving individuals and businesses.
How would you describe your style as a teenager?
Platform wearing Hippie meets disco diva. I had a Mexican leather flower embossed shoulder bag and wore two little gemstone rings: a star of saphire and an opal. I also wore a silver MIA bracelet with the name of a Vietnam soldier and had bleached Sun-In hair with wings just like Farrah Fawcett.
How would you describe your style now? Eclectic, colorful, creative! I strive to support small woman owned businesses.
What would you do with a whole day for yourself?
I would do deep water aerobics in a salt water pool surrounded by a garden (my dream house), then I would get a long massage. After relaxing, I would go to a handful of Asian restaurants and pick up my favorite dishes to host a party. I would include my lifelong friends, their partners, and a few strangers unknown to the group. Once everyone left, I would stay up late watching mysteries.
Who gave you the most valuable piece of advice and what was it?
My mom told me to travel after I graduated from college. I spent the summer backpacking through Europe and Morocco with a friend. We stayed with numerous families we met during our travels.
What 3 words would you use to describe how you feel in Alembika?
Beautiful, comfortable and stylish.
