Part of the fun in the summertime is the outdoor music festivals. There is just something about live music that makes us all feel better and doing it with friends is the cherry on top!

In Manhattan, Lincoln Center and Central Park set the stage most weekends, while in Brooklyn, Prospect Park and Brooklyn Bridge Park keep the energy going. Out on the North Fork of Long Island, where I spend most weekends, the vibe is just as inviting.

Our friend Steve keeps us in the loop on all the best spots and shows.

We pack our beach chairs, sunscreen, a cooler full of beer and snacks, and settle in for afternoons that turn into sunsets, all with good music and good company.
